Roy Hopkins was born and raised in eastern NC. His passion for athletics and fitness has been engraved in him since he was a little leaguer. Roy Hopkins was one of the top amateur prospects during his time to come out of the Pitt County area. Roy played on the varsity level all 4 yrs at D.H. Conley High School. He verbally committed his early senior year of high school to attend East Carolina University to play baseball but an arm injury he occurred during the middle of his season kept him from receiving a scholarship. He then rehabbed his arm injury and earned a full baseball scholarship to Pitt Community College where he graduated and was a stand out pitcher. Roy then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to further his education but realized very quickly that there was no place like eastern NC. Shortly after moving back to Greenville was when Roy founded Pro Fitness Training, where he quickly realized he has found his calling. While operating Pro Fitness Training he earned his Bachelors degree from East Carolina University in Exercise & Sports Science.
Roy has become one of the top fitness trainers in Eastern Carolina by his sought after knowledge and credentials that he brings to the table that very few trainers can even come close to compare. He has a passion for fitness and a true peoples’ person. He will teach you his methods based on hard word and discipline which is what he lives by.
